- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆If I could give a lower star review I would. I am reviewing Tom Burleigh as a landlord. I would highly advise against renting from him. I had numerous problems while renting from him. The night I moved in the apartment was a disaster (see pictures), we spent the entire next day cleaning it, there was no bed (as promised in the lease). When I finally moved out we had to consistently call him to be able to get our deposit back. Throughout the time I rented from there were problems with the stove (we went without a stove for a month plus), Scaffolding blocking a main exit, drywall barricading a hallway to the only other exit, several items that were promised to be provided in the lease were not provided, there's more but too much to type. Tom is EXTREMELY cheap and will try to cheat out of paying you back and will not fix any issues (minor or major) without constant complaining and phone calls. !!!!DO NOT RENT FROM HIM!!!!
